Not only in Human Resources anymore. Fortunately, mental health is becoming increasingly important in all aspects of our lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mental health is being mainstreamed, reaching companies under the guidance of Human Resources. According to the Association of Workplace Accident Mutual Insurance Societies, in Spain work stress causes almost 25% of job losses<\/strong>. Since 2021, mental health problems are the second reason for work absenteeism and result in long-term absenteeism (its duration is three times longer than other reasons for absenteeism).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Human Resources departments have had to take action, and emotional pay<\/strong> has been placed at the heart of the strategies used by HR professionals, such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Bet on the training and development of your employees: <\/strong>\u201cCompanies that invest in developing their people are 11% more profitable and twice as likely to retain their best employees\u201d, according to Gallup. Investing in training your employees is investing in your company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Good work environment:<\/strong> It all comes down to how the person feels at work. If employees come to work happy and feel comfortable with the rest of the team, it will be a great advantage for everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Motivation:<\/strong> Having a sense of belonging to the organization and feeling their work valued will increase both their motivation and their productivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Internal communication:<\/strong> One of the key points that will increase employee motivation is proper communication within the company. Keeping employees informed of what is new will increase their sense of belonging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
