This is no longer exclusive to Human Resources, data analysis is a reality -and a need in all departments of the company. Moreover, it is not a future trend; we have long known that storing, managing, and analyzing data is critical for proper decision-making. But the real use of data in Human Resources was not yet possible due to the lack of resources and time. It was not a priority for a department that has been in firefighting mode over the past two years. Nor was there a period of “normal years” to allow for benchmarking. Now that everything is starting to stabilize, it is a concern, since numbers will continue to prevail even in a department where people are at the center.
